Finding information about
political candidates
(especially first time
candidates) is sometimes not
easy. And, we feel, a
better educated electorate
hopefully makes better
decisions for everyone.
So, as a public service, my
company and I decided to
create a non-partisan website
-- a political portal, if
you will -- that will
provide the Jackson County
electorate some insight into
candidates for the 2008
elections.
JacksonCountyDecision2008.com
is the result.
This website provides a list
of local, county, state,
federal
candidates and links to
their websites or email.
To help level the playing
field a bit, if a candidate
does not have a website we
will provide one page for
them at no charge.
We decided that visitors
might like to know a little
about
Jackson County so there
is a page about our county
as well. And, because
there are myriad places to
go to find county and
election related
information, we have
provided a page of
helpful
links.
If you are a candidate and
want to add you link or add
a page for your candidacy,
please
contact me. If you
can't find what you are
looking for or think of
something we can add that
will provide valuable
information to the
electorate, please
contact me.
Also, we are considering
adding a moderated forum to
allow the local candidates
and the people to "interact"
on the issues. If you
would like to see such a
forum made available, please
contact me.

And above all else, exercise
your hard won right to vote.

VOTE on election
day and encourage everyone
you know to do the same.
